Impacted individuals can take action to effect change in their community. Some available actions include: using the mining company’s noise or environment complaints hotline, writing to the mine site, writing to your local member of parliament or local or state government, or starting an online action group.
who can WA residents speak to about noise concerns?
In Western Australia, affected residents can speak to their local council, the Department of Water and Environmental Regulation who oversee environmental protection, and the Department of Mines, Industry Regulation, and Safety who can provide WA regulation and compliance information.
