Impacted individuals can take action to effect change in their community. Some available actions include: using the mining company’s noise or environment complaints hotline, writing to the mine site, writing to your local member of parliament or local or state government, or starting an online action group.
who can VIC residents speak to about noise concerns?
In Victoria, affected residents can speak to their local council, the Environmental Protection Authority Victoria who are responsible for regulation and management of environmental issues, and the Department of Jobs, Precincts, and Regions who can provide VIC regulation, approval and compliance information.
